Life Link Research supplies peptides and related reagents to qualified researchers for laboratory work. This page explains what “research use only” means for every product we sell and for every article, comparison and product page we publish. It applies alongside our Terms & Conditions, which govern every order.
Research use only
Every product on this site is sold strictly for in vitro laboratory research and analytical use. That covers work such as cell-based assays, receptor and signaling studies, analytical method development, and reference-standard testing carried out in a controlled research setting.
Our products are not drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics or medical devices. They are not made, labeled or sold for any clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, cosmetic or household purpose.
Not for human or animal use
No product sold by Life Link Research may be introduced into humans or animals in any way. That includes injection, ingestion, inhalation and topical application. We do not provide, and will not respond to requests for, amounts, schedules or preparation steps for personal use.
Orders, messages or reviews that suggest personal or veterinary use may be cancelled or refused.
No FDA evaluation or approval
Statements on this website have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Our products are not approved by the FDA for any use and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease or condition.
Where we mention a regulatory process, such as an FDA advisory review or a compounding list, we do so to report the status of a compound. Being reviewed or listed is not an approval, and the information is not legal or regulatory advice.
How to read our articles and product pages
Our blog posts, research guides, comparisons and product descriptions summarize published scientific literature so researchers can understand a compound’s structure, mechanism and research history. When reading them, please keep the following in mind:
- Findings come from research models. Most studies we cite were done in cell cultures or animal models. They describe what was observed in those settings, not what a product will do outside the lab.
- Citations are for context. References and PubMed links point to the original studies so readers can check the source. Listing a study is not a claim about how a product should be used.
- Handling notes are lab guidance. Storage, solubility and preparation details describe how to keep research material stable for assays. They are not instructions for any other purpose.
- Research moves on. Science changes as new work is published. We review and update content, but some information may be incomplete or out of date at the time you read it.
Nothing on this website is medical, legal or professional advice, and no content should be relied on as a substitute for your own review of the primary literature.
Who may purchase
Our website and products are intended for qualified professionals and researchers. To place an order you must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher. By ordering, you confirm that you understand the nature of these materials and will use them only for lawful laboratory research.
Some compounds are regulated differently from place to place. It is the buyer’s responsibility to know and follow the laws that apply where they are located before ordering.
Safe handling in the lab
Research peptides should be handled only by trained personnel. Follow your institution’s laboratory safety rules, wear suitable protective equipment, store materials as described on the product page, keep them out of reach of unauthorized people, and dispose of unused material and waste according to local regulations.
Specifications and certificates of analysis
Purity, identity and other specifications listed on product pages describe the testing standard for each product. A certificate of analysis reports the results for the specific batch that was tested. Results can vary slightly between batches, so please refer to the certificate for the batch you receive. You can read more about our process on the Quality & Testing page.
Third-party links
Our content links to outside sources such as PubMed, journal publishers and government websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability.
Responsibility for use
Once a product is delivered, the buyer is fully responsible for how it is stored, handled and used. Life Link Research is not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from misuse of our products or from reliance on the information on this website, to the extent permitted by law. Full terms on liability and indemnification are set out in our Terms & Conditions.
